Searching my gmail returns Kildares. I didn't remember the name off the top of my head. I've only been to Manayunk twice in my life, never been there after 2 PM, but gotten a good buzz on both times.

Dunno if it is actually small or if only a portion of it was open in the AM.

Okay, Kildares makes sense...thought when you said small it might have been U.S. Hotel Bar and Grill.

I was close, which is impressive because I was amidst a three-day bender. A legit bender, not one where I happen to drink three days in a row. Anyway, my friend stuck with me through the first half and then bailed to sleep. So the second half was me and a bunch of strangers. It was so awesome.

we have had an ant problem at my house for a few months now. every so often there are just a bunch of them on our kitchen counter or crawling on the living room floor. its really gross. we have put out a lot of poison to kill them and they typically go away for a few weeks. they came back earlier today so i put out some poison where i thought they were coming out and sure enough they all flocked to it.

just a few minutes ago i saw a massive ant climbing on the ottoman. i squashed that thing with a tissue. it was the queen ant for sure. i dont know why she was out of wherever they are hiding but im pretty proud i killed their leader.

im also grossed out.

Grooveshark has a power hour mode. It will play 60 seconds of a song and then move to the next one. I'm not sure how I feel about this. Back in my youthful drinking days we'd burn CD's and have it set to start a new track every 60 seconds, so you wouldn't get a new song every 60 seconds, just a 2 second pause every 60 seconds. I feel like that was more satisfying, playing 60 seconds of a song and then going to the next sounds like someone is in itunes trying to figure out what song to buy.

Interesting, I might have to try this. I haven't done a power hour in like 5+ years, this could be awesome or ugly. Likely both.

Guy across the street (73) died yesterday, all of a sudden too, as he was doing yard work just the other day. Didn't know him, which makes me feel like a bad neighbor. Mrs. Vulture will probably bring his wife cookies.

Seems like you're in a bit of a pickle then. If you bail, no one will believe you were sick and you'll never live it down. If you come and aren't sick (even if you got better overnight) no one will believe you and you'll never live it down. If you come and are sick and infect anyone else, you'll never live it down. I suggest you come in a hazmat suit like you're gonna be transporting Ebola monkeys after the game.

nothing feels quite as good as FINALLY moving everything into a new place, sitting down watching phils/a's on a 52in screen with a drink in your hand

well, maybe if a bj was involved
