I'm not mocking you with this Calvin, but how does one get fired from a volunteer position? Shouldn't the organization that you are volunteering your services to be grateful for any effort you can give? I probably don't get it, but if you've put in 7 years for them, they should be grateful to you IMO.

Right. That is partly why I am so furious about this. They aren't grateful or at least that gratitude is never expressed.

yeah, fired definitely isn't the right word. they're simply asking you not to come back. the two most likely reasons are that you're either too creepy or overly annoying.

With helping Vox's brother out the last couple weeks, I definitely see a difference between healthcare in NJ and PA. He got out of the hospital on a Thursday, was supposed to see one of the doctors in "2-3" days, I call to make the appt, they have to call me back to find us an appointment, and when they do, it's a week later. They call us the afternoon before, tell us he needs specific paperwork brought to the appointment, and if we don't bring it, they won't see him. I have never had this kind of bad service before, and VoxJr has seen nearly every kind of specialist under the sun.

However, if you need a neurosurgeon at Crozer, the new department head is an awesome doctor. However, probably as direct corollary to this, he run about 90 minutes late for appointments.
