I just got home from helping my grandmom move in to her her new apartment. We got movers to help. It was 64 dollars an hour for 2 movers or 72 dollars an hour for 3 movers. Seemed like a no-brainer to me. We probably saved an hour with the extra mover. Let that be a lesson for future moves- always opt for the third guy if the price is right.

We had this when we moved. Three or four guys packed up the house, and then 2 guys packed up our storage (we had two vans). Then we had 5 or 6 guys unpacking. It about two hours.

We paid a flat rate for the whole thing, because it was two half-day jobs plus overnight storage. Still, I'd never not hire a mover again.
