thats how it is with my cat. got her in 6th grade just before my parents divorced. so i was around 10 then and now i'm almost 28. she's probably 18 years old now. doesn't look a day over 5. i don't think she's ever going to die.

The Fire

I thought fights in general were obsolete

I've been to the Fire once and will probably never go back. I saw this lesbian band that really sucked and saw the aftermath of someone getting hit by a car. That was a really weird night.

It's kinda sad but in my pay bracket, I'm just not really up for traveling.

Say I want to visit a bud in LA, TX, WA, whatever. Plane + expenses + having fun money adds up to 400, verrrrrry conservatively. (Plus using at least one vacation day, which for me is like spending future cash. Not sure if you pals get paid out vacay time when you leave your jobs.)

Say I stay here in Philly:
150 bucks for ridiculous Sixers tickets or pretty good Flyers tix (100 for the tickets and 50 more to make that an all around awesome night)
70 bucks for two drinks at the Franklin (30 bucks) then nachos and beers at Pistolas (20) then five specials at Bob and Barbaras (drunk)
80 for sick new shoes or jacket, maybe 2! shirts
50 for four new cds via Amazon or whatever

I'm only up to 350 and I've had an amazing weekend and I've got all that SWAG to show for it. Feel like, miss u faraway pals, but until I make more cash I'm staying put
