Then I googled that service name and found pages with the phone number and address of my building and an email address. I started googling the email address and found dozens of pages of escort/prostitution service pages. Some of them had pictures of my neighbor with no mystery about what she was selling. I found this neighbor as repulsive as could be, both physically and personality-wise, before I found out all of this, so this is all very unpleasant. But I'm happy this means they'll be gone soon.

almost all I know of the worlds oldest profession I've learned from popular media - really - so rank this suggestion accordingly, but as I understand it, the customer service representatives in that industry are occasionally backed by a collections department whose role often encompasses marketing, public relations damage control, and regulatory affairs advocacy

so the tip is watch your ass, I guess. Her heart may not be all that belongs to daddy

We want our HOA to deal with them. We've been watching our asses with regards to this neighbor for years. There have been a steady stream of seedy characters in and around their unit. We've been complaining and complaining to our HOA and trying to push them to do something about all of the problems. At the very least, they are operating a business from their unit that has not been approved. The HOA finally started the process of escalating fines with the hopes that the father would move her out and sell the unit. He said he is going to sell it once he finds something else for her. I'm hoping this makes things go much more quickly.

mayo has its place, to be sure

but you seldom want the crap slathered on by your typical sub shop. That isn't really even mayo, is it?

made right, oatmeal almost literally kicks ass. But if you're downing that one-minute shit, your grandma can, and ought to, kick your ass.

Today is Martin Luther King Day. And Lil' Vulture and I are home from school. Among people who take the reason for the day off seriously (including one of Lil' Vulture's teacher's) there seems to be dismay that the day is more or less another three day weekend. (I know many many veterans' groups have similar objections about the way most celebrate Memorial Day.)

I don't think many worry in the same way about Presidents' Day, and certainly not about Labor Day.

So, what I'm suggesting is that if you want people to take your day seriously, make them got to school or work on it.
