Ken, you're really not helping the situation.

what's wanted is more of Reyes' kind of attitude: bounce a high chopper off the dirt in front of the plate, stand there & watch it go up about 2 stories, & get thrown out instead of being safe easily if he simply dashes to first.

the guy's play the last 6 weeks is simply inexplicable.
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Kiner lets drop that he "can't stand" the canned intro music used baseball-wide these days.

Gets a rise out of the 3-boobed Mets broadcast trust.

Wow, a Marlins pitcher gets consecutive outs without allowing a run. Trend?

This thread needs to die an unceremonious death. We should never speak of it again.

Unless of course the Mets manage to blow this one in spectacular fashion. Then it shall be enshrined somewhere.

I'd just like to point out that there's a lot of baseball left to be played at Shea today.

The Mets still believing they have hope will make their inevitable demise all the sweeter.

Paul LoDuca is they key for the Mets.

If they can find a way not to play him, they're fine.
