Good news - the Flyers are third in the league in goals per game.
Bad news - the Flyers are dead last in goals against per game.

So what's the deal with Dale Weise? I was fully aware he wasn't the #1 free agent signing in the NHL this off-season, but good lord. I thought he'd be a 12G/16A type guy and play decent hockey but he has been absolutely invisible.

stupid kind of player to lock up for 4 years. definitely thought he'd be better than this though.

You give a long contract like that to a 3rd/4th line player because he fits your system. More evidence there's something off with Hakstol's system right now. I have faith it'll get back on track soon. Working in new faces and two 19-year-old rookies was never going to be easy. The goaltending being below average and injuries/suspensions also hasn't helped the chemistry.

Something is is so off with the system that the team is 3rd in goals. If we had league average goaltending, there are no issues and everybody loves Hakstol. Instead, "something is off" and "these lineup changes are crazy!"

Feels like players that were here last year are performing well. Remember how bad the team was to start last year, think that's what we are seeing with Weise. Just needs more time in this shitty system to get it down.

Hakstol's not the offensive coordinator. The defensive assignments are off. Ghost just was a healthy scratch.

Not sure I've ever seen someone use body blows in a hockey fight, but gudas seemingly made it work.

Terrible performance today. Team overall played ok but just mistakes kill them over and over.
