Titlehungry wrote:Amazing what adding a stud young defenseman and a stud young winger do for expectations... now I look at the this team with two number one goalies in Mason and Neuvirth... we've had trouble finding one for years and years... a sweet top 6 of Giroux, Schenn, Simmonds, Voracek, Couturier, and Konecny which pushes a guy like Raffl down where he'll be more effective and a fun D with Ghost and Provorov and vets like Streit and Del Zotto when healthy and with Morin and Sanheim waiting as replacements if needed... this is a scary, scary team to play if we stay healthy into the playoffs

Yup, both are UFA. The best case scenario is that both play as well as they did at the end of last season so you can trade one of them and bring up Stolarz. They also have a few more interesting goalie prospects in the wings, so if at least one of those hit, then they can eventually transition off of whichever current goalie they keep.
It's so weird to talk about goalies being a source of strength for the Flyers.
