Actually a -5. Maybe Hextall is correct that rookies need some time in the A before coming up? Having a bad game such as this one could hurt a kid's confidence and development. Perhaps Provorov could actually benefit from more time in Juniors?

It was one game vs an elite offensive team. No big deal. How he performs vs Anaheim will tell you a lot about his confidence.

I hope that you're right. He really looked poorly out there last night, although Streit didn't help him much. That goal in the first minute was really on Streit not being aware or physical with his play. Provorov may simply be trying to do too much and then pressing when things started to go badly.
