Scored total of 10 runs vs Washinton, 9 vs Cleveland. 6-0

fangraphs now projects 70-92.
coincidentally, that is the phils record in their last 162 games.
they also are over 500 since the 2015 all-star break: 49-47.

really, really, really wish altherr hadn't stupidly hurt himself. this would be more sustainable with him around
and really, really, really wish they would call up perkins and/or joseph and/or featherston to take pa's away from burriss and/or bourjos and/or ruf-vs-rhp. this too would make the success more sustainable.

Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Only the Cubs, White Sox, and Nats have more wins than the Phillies.

1/6 season complete. 96 win pace. .500 or better vs. nats, mets, and cards, and swept an indians team that fangraphs had ranked 3rd in their league preseason. strength of schedule (especially after the opening series) being underestimated by most authors of the 'phillies aren't this good' deep analysis columns.

I need to go find that thread where I got mocked for saying that they would make a run at some point during the season.

I especially hate the "unsustainability" argument based on run differential. We could win the next two against St Louis by 1 run and they'll point to that 10-3 loss on Monday!

This thread had dropped a bit. I know it's tough after a loss, but here we are--still over fucking .500!

Sheesh, the way this thread has dropped, you'd think losing 2 in a row was the end of the world. It isn't. The team is over .500 and tonight will snatch 3rd place back from those stinky fish.
