I find it hilarious when a Carolina or Duke fan complains about ACC refereeing giving some other team an advantage.

UNC's defensive was impressive. Totally shut us down in the last 10 minutes.

Think both teams will get 1 seeds. Think Virginia will get the West 1 with the Pac-12 champ getting the 2. Carolina gets the 1 in Philadelphia with Villanova 2. Kansas gets Chicago with Xavier the 2 and Michigan State gets Louisville with Oklahoma or West Virginia the 2.

I watched the one where UVA couldn't hit a shot for 8 minutes and lost because of it but Bilas seemed to think it was this revolutionary UNCheat defense.

Hats off to Carolina. They played better and hit a few more shots down the stretch. As I said earlier, you can't miss open shots in a game like that one.

I'd love to see these two teams play the rubber match in the Final Four.

Get us away from Michigan State and we'll see how this theory holds up. It isn't like we didn't win the ACCT 2 years ago and got to the finals this season. And you know, Wisconsin didn't make the NCAA Final last year or anything.

Not trying to pile on or anything but I really don't think it's a theory. You guys are now 4-4 in your last 8 postseason games. You have the 2nd/3rd best player in school history but haven't gotten past the Sweet 16. This style works in the regular season at home (you are unbeatable there) and vs crappy teams but there's a very slim chance it will work 6 times in the NCAA Tournament when the competition gets tougher on a neutral floor.

In that ACC tournament you played a 5 seed (3rd game in 3 days) and a Duke team that lost to Mercer. Not great competition.

They've played in 2 of the last 3 Acct finals. They lost to the same team twice in the past two ncaa's... a team that just happens to be intimately familiar with this style of play and has the perfect lineup to match it.

Talk to me when they've underplayed their seed a few more times. Until then...

The comment that I made was bc I've watched several Acct games this season where exactly that scenario played out. Including the VT upset and the uva/Miami game last night.

Yeah I didn't get his rotations tonight. Last night he was on fire. Tonight nothing worked offensively, so it's hard to see what he was trying to do sometimes. But he took Gill out early when he'd had early success in the post,for example.
