Soler a real possibility?
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Supposedly the Marlins are willing to make Ozuna available at the deadline....

It's amazing how much better the Phillies look when they don't have guys like Osullivan, correia, billingsley or Gonzalez pitch.

i pray that biddle finishes this season strong. having him back in prospect territory would be a really nice surprise and more depth to the system.

Dave Brundage quotes on Biddle from the Allentown Morning Call:

Jesse Biddle

It is five years since the Phillies shocked many with their first-round selection of the Philadelphia native.

Now 127 games into Biddle's professional career — the last three with Lehigh Valley — the organization still isn't sure what to expect.

"Up and down," Brundage said. "[Wednesday], he got the job done, but I'd like to see him finish. He didn't have that killer instinct, that shutdown inning. He gets the first two outs, but couldn't finish.

"He needs to finish that inning and the seventh inning. He kind of got passive, a little bit tentative."

There have been several instances in Biddle's minor league career when he's simply lost his control. He hasn't been able to consistently throw his fastball for strikes, then let his offspeed pitches play off that. His curveball needs further development, too.

"He's young, age-wise," Brundage said. "But he's got plenty of starts under his belt.

"He's not some spring chicken who doesn't know how to finish games."

He married Bruce Jenner?
