I've got this one out in 50/50's

Chavez
Lucroy
Moss
Zobrist
Lowrie
Donaldson
Joyce
Braun
Werth

Swapped out Jennings for Werth. Never have had luck with Desmond and I'd rather take my chances with Werth against a lefty.

Thinking Estrada or Lee tonight. Lots of cheap pitchers today too though.

Forgot about it until I got some email the other day. Had $3 left from last year. Entered some $2 one, thought I did bad, won $10. Got another email this week, entered some $2 one, won $14. Think I'll keep that strategy.

I felt in top of the world winning $14. Can't imagine what he feels like. Can do without the stress of losing big some nights.

Avoid rain.
Exploit ballparks.
Pick players who bat 1/2/3.
Exploit lefty killers against mediocre LHP.
Pick road team hitters.
Try to avoid hitters against great pitchers.

Cron sat, so I swapped him and Sandoval with Carpenter and Herrera (LAA). Best night ever. Won the Line Drive, Home Run, Single, Blast, and Ace, 3rd in Bunt and Squeeze #2, and 4th in Strikeout. Wagered $305, cashed $8,100. Felt like mini-Trent. Very mini.

Thanks, man - I should probably quit. I'll never do this again, and will think I can.

The ability to walk away is a skill. God knows Rube would double down. You might be smart enough to execute it.

At the very least you could cash out a chunk of the winnings so you're ahead no matter what and decide not to buy back in if what you leave in the pot ends up being lost. I think that would be my play, but unfortunately, I haven't won thousands at FanDuel so do not know for sure how I would react.

Good points. My first reaction was "hookers and blow", but my 17-year-old son was sitting next to me watching every game we could, counting down the outs, praying Giancarlo didn't hit a 3-run bomb in the 9th and cost me half my winnings. So I would have had to get him some, too.

Basically decided to cash out $5K to cover some upcoming expenses that are outside the normal budget, and keep the rest in so I don't always feel like I'm a bad week away from being done with FanDuel.
