The last second round pick of note was Janne Niimmaa in 1992.
Sorry if I don't get all upset they traded a #2 in this years draft and a #3 in 2015. Both picks would have been nought, just by probability using their past picks as a guide.
And when Stolarz and Gottabethere make it to the big show, I'll start to change my tune.

As it is, they got a cheap, young defensemen who leads the league in blocked shots and can move the puck a bit for those picks. I'll take that any day of the week over the Flyers inability to draft outside of the first round.
