i thought he was pushed, not bumped. can queue up a few youtubes where a guy driving the net gets tangled with a defender and they're guilty of the penalty. its a killer call late in the game, but they call that one pretty consistently.

so that makes it right?....its a terrible call and if you are correct and thats called like that consistently it shows how much of a joke the league is

It was probably a crappy call, but one that gets made often. Devils played pretty well tonight though, and probably deserved to win. Empty netter missed by an inch right before that. Don't let up goals to senior citizens, score goals against senior citizens without clattering into them, avoid refs costing you a point #analysis.

i just think that one goes either way. another year, another post about how the league is a joke, but you'll keep watching. and after that you'll complain about a terrible ball/strike call and a bad pass interference after that and the circle of life continues

Hoya and Slugs are dead on here, as are all those that think Hartnell sucks (though we'll probably love him next week when he pots a couple of game winners vs. Chicago and St. Louis). Also, Mark Streit should be embarrassed that he was out-muscled by a 90-year old.
