My concern is less about Lee as it is on everyone else. I'm fully convinced that Amaro is going to overplay his hand, which is going to bite him in the ass.

Sounds like Iglesias is the major piece going back for Peavy.

Meanwhile Stark says Lee's staying put, and seems tepid on odds MY is dealt.

Does this at least speed the day of Amaro's firing?

So it is a 3 way trade between Chicago, Boston, and Detroit.

Iglesias to Detroit to cover the PED suspension.

I just hope extending a guy with bad knees and a history of injuries through his age 37 season is not the centerpiece of Rube's deadline deals.
