In my defense, the Phils runs scored in the preceding 9 games were as follows:

0, 3, 0, 0, 0, 3, 1, 0, 3

5 shutouts in 9 games is pretty unwatchable

maybe they wanna build a super rotation and will trade for lee too. little do they know super rotations just end with your team sucking a couple years after you build it

Phils should have signed Garza to that deal. Basically paying 6 million bucks for Olt and get Garza for half a season.

Olt's health is a pretty huge red flag. he could improve from what he's been most of this year and it's probably a risk worth jumping on from the Cubs' perspective. but the Rangers had good reason to deal him

why is this in the Phils thread

There was some discussion about Lee going to Texas so it makes sense as this deal most likely eliminates that possibility.
