I think they count it as 1 pitch if it's a ball in play, 3 for a strikeout and 4 for a walk

He made a nice play at second earlier, then moved over to short and made a really smooth start to a double play.

Yeah he's an absolute stud. Beyond awesome when I saw him in reading last year.
