Ryan Howard is day-to-day with bursitis in his heel/Achilles area.
Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said Howard could play if needed, but obviously they have little reason to push him right now. John Mayberry Jr. is filling in at first base Tuesday

Phillies are now 4th in runs scored per game with 4.5 (STL:4.7, CIN:4.7, COL: 4.6). They have scored 32 fewer runs than StL in 2 fewer games.
They are second in OPS post all start break, first in slugging. 3rd in overall runs scored. I'd like to know who Cameron thinks is the best offense in the NL now and who is close.

On August 27th of that season, the Phils started a skid in which they went 2-13. Can't really see our current heroes doing that.
