i was a huge thierry henry fan when i was younger, my favorite non greek player, and i picked them all the time in fifa. this might work.

Holy crap is this thread dated now. I was so mean to CartersDad. I'm so sorry.

Glad I didn't go though the Villa v Spurs dilemma I went through IRL when picking a team in that thread. It was really close, glad I'm wearing Lillywhite instead of stuck in the relegation zone.

I know it's cool to say that recent Spurs supporters are bandwagon fans and all(they kind of are). I chose Spurs because everyone said they would not finish top 4 in the 09-10 season. I loved the underdog story. When 3 meter Peter headed home the winner v City, I was a Spurs fan officially. They won my attention with the gritty wins v Chelsea and v Arsenal(fond memories for Floppy, I'm sure), but that was when I decided I was Spurs.
