Liverpool will finish 6th or 7th in my opinion. I am sure that Chelsea will finish above them, so will Arsenal and Spurs. Liverpool is a cup team at the moment and probably will be this season. He didn't have any real spares in midfield so he gambled by using Lucas, that may cost him. Lot of workrate in the Liverpool team, they are good at defending, but they haven't got too much in attack.

If Lucas is badly injured, that would be not good. He's been fantastic this season. January isn't too far away so if CM is a real problem it can be addressed, but there's still enough there even without Gerrard and Lucas to get through the short term.

I think we can finish third if the team keeps up what it's doing and starts getting a little better BABIP. We'll see, they're playing really well at the moment. There's a better shot that they finish ahead of at least one of the three London clubs than behind Newcastle anyway.

Personally, I think you finish 6th, but there's no reason you can't contend for top 4 at least. Spurs/Chelsea/Arsenal/Pool(order I'm predicting right now, btw) is going to be a dogfight and right now, we are the early favorites for 3rd with our form. Spurs are proven chokers, though.

Agreed on Lucas, has been one of your best players this season.
