Rather not get him during his regression period, he has a .350 BABIP this year so far

Yeh, I liked that idea, but I'm not sure they were interested in trading him.

And managing the Marlins, too. Don't forget that.

I passed one and then worked a double shift when I woke up the next morning, about 6-7 hours after the passing. And that was waiting tables for 14-15 hours, not sitting on a bench.

So I must be super badass. Or stupid, whichever.

I can accept 1 and 2 on the stupid argument that pitching wins mean anything, but Karstens at 3? Zimmerman ahead of Halladay? Was Rube part of a DP with this guy's wife?

That's so bad it would get rejected from The Bleacher Report.

Obviously pitching depth 6-8 is everything.

Ramirez has dealt with back problems for much of the season, but told reporters that he’s healthy and confused by not starting tonight.

McKeon explained to Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald that he benched Ramirez because he “didn’t like the way he was running yesterday” and Joe Capozzi of the Palm Beach Post reports that Ramirez also showed up late to the ballpark.

I think the reporter scrambled things a little and it should have read 'he benched Ramirez because he “didn’t like the way he was running yesterday”, which was running late and showing up when ever he damn well felt like it'. WWCD? Oh, bench him.

All that said, McKeon as manager is a joke. Then again so is having your manager resign.

Maybe we could get them to throw in Stanton if Rube added cash to the deal. I seriously wonder how dim that organization is as on the surface they seem stupid.

The whole McKeon thing will backfire like an old Ford Aspire.

I think Marlins ownership hopes it catches lightning in a bottle, but they would be astronomically stupid to trade Hanley Ramirez. As much as I dislike Buster Olney, I certainly agree with his stance on the Marlins. With a new ballpark looming, there is an expectation to win a little bit this year. I think they're better than last place in the division, but McKeon is going to drive some of those young guys bonkers (not that there is a problem with that). Anyone with 1/4 of a brain could have seen this coming, they are a VERY average team minus Josh Johnson. Marlins ownership needs to tread lightly, but they can't stay out of their own way.

Also, plz lol at anyone who thinks the Marlins will sell-out their new ballpark.
