Not sure this is actually bad news. I think Lidge may be at or near the end anyway.

I guess now we will find out if Madson is ready to be the closer and take over for Lidge when he leaves.

It will also open up another roster spot for one of the young guys.

Chuck throwin out an interesting lineup today. If Castillo wins the 2b job, I could see this being the everyday lineup.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

I've seen a lot of stuff in BP and elsewhere saying Mayberry looks like the likely RF over Ben Fran. This could be the lineup:

Victorino
Polanco
Rollins
Howard
Mayberry
Ibanez
Ruiz
Valdez/Castillo

Ugh.

I have not seen anything suggesting Mayberry will start in RF

Have I just isolated myself that much?

That's a split squad lineup, right?

Would be our #8.

Might be the Mets #1.

Ok, that's a bit of hyperbole. He'd be behind Pelfrey.

Has Blanton really thrown 27 pitches, 27 strikes, no balls in five innings? That can't be right, can it?
