I don't know what Hamels is working on. Two run homer by Chris Johnson. 5-4. Sarge is pissed. Another hit by the 'strohs pros. Mathieson warming.

There was a mention in the Inquirer about how disappointed Andersen was that Temple didn't make the A-10 final. This meant radio station aired the Phillies game instead of basketball yesterday and Andersen had to work.

Can't say I blame him.

Another HR -- Jason Michaels. Hamels is washed up.

Dubee has seen enough. Error by Howard. Mathieson in.

Astros in mid-season Phillie killer form.

Mathieson gets K with a slow curve(?)!!

5-5 after 4 full.

one-two-three inning for a guy named Lopez. Howard hit the ball hard though.

Mathieson gets fly out before single to Lee. Ibanez apparently dancing around in LF instead of catching it.

Our pitcher is dealing. Big fastball and killer split gets K followed by pop up out. EZ for Scott!!

Now a guy named Villar mows down the Phils who are workiing at scoreless innings in tie games against the Astros -- getting ready for the regular season vs. our nemesis.

Herdon in now and gives up his hit right away -- a double by Where's Wallace. Then he gets his 1st of many ground balls -- this one for an out.
Gets a K!!! Gets another ground ball out -- Herndon handles the semi-Astros pretty good. Where's Wallace dies at 3B.

Infield hit by Francisco followed by small ball failure. Stretch time.

Bastardo with the EZ one-two-three with a K.

Gload gets an 8th inning lead off single. Sarge talkin' small ball. Galvins complies -- sac bunt. Mayberry up.

Hey, that Urckfitz is pitching for the Astros. And he walks Mayberry -- very scared. And he walks Delwyn as well. Sarge says Young was slow footin' it there.

Josh Barfield can be the hero or the goat here. Hero -- Sac fly -- outfielder "literally actually threw a parachute" to the plate (Sarge).

Phils take one run lead to the bottom of the 8th. Time to find out if our heroes are chockkers or not.

Dan Meyer in to face random semi-Astros. Gets pop-out. Matt Daowns doubles down the line as Meyer works on getting into the late inning jam. Flyout gets runner to 3rd. Quintero pops up a single to no man's land. Tie game. Meyer looking at apartments in Allentown soon.

Quintero gets to 2B on wild pitch. Now gets pinch run for as Astros go for the win here. Bulldog Meyer gets the K. 6-6 as we head to the ninth.

Phillie scrub infielders attempt to get the lead back here. Valdez grounds out quickly.

Subject of Abba hit song Fernando Rodriguez in for the Astros. Clutch ground single by Martinez. Marty steals second. Sardine with a chance to be a hero or goat. The goat Ks.

Red-hot Ross Gload up to win it.

Wow. Passed ball/wild pitch and Martinez scores from 2B as no one remembers to cover home plate. Catcher panicked. Gload singles anyway and is ticked because he loses RBI.

Galvis grounds out quickly. Go to the bottom of the 9th leading 7-6.

Trent Steele up for the Astros. Meyer still in.

6-3 ground out.

Meyer likes working with men on base as he allows walk followed by ground single.

Meyer lacks closer mentality -- goes 3-0 to Towels -- walks him too.

Meyer is done. He stinks.
