He didn't have great command of his control. But his stuff looks playable. He's supposed to have great control of his command and stuff so let's watch him a few more times.

Hey, yo though. It's the early part of the first week of ST. The Mariners scored 12 runs yesterday. By the end of ST we'll have some idea about these guys. It's good to actually see some of them.

But even still, the hard core Saberthinking is ST doesn't mean anything and there's something to that.

From that Halladay no hitter Facebook page:

So far this spring, Ben Francisco is 4-7 with 4 RBIs and Domonic Brown is 0-9 with 6 K's. With those numbers so far, we know who will probably start in right-field April 1.

Show's over, folks! Nothing to see here! Francisco wins! Rice-a-Roni for everyone!

Harvey Dorfman, who wrote the pitching witchcraft book Halladay likes, died

Sarge is really convinced that Delwyn Young is Dmitri's brother.

He wouldn't stop with it on the broadcast today.

The thing is, he was making up stories about it. Saying Dmitri told him he had a brother who could really switch hit. Delmon doesn't switch hit. Do they have another brother? I was embarrassed for the Sarge.

Mike Taylor is one large human.

Can't wait to have a "Should of been Brown instead of Taylor" discussion in a few years after fails.
