Cliff Lee knob-slobbing thread

Postby SpeedRacer » Sat Aug 01, 2009 01:31:22

maybe I'm showing my age, but I'm kind of terrified about them trading Hamels and having to watch a series where CH buries us.

The most amazing thing about Lee is his command of all of his pitches.

He has good control, obviously looking at his low walk totals, but he has pinpoint command. One of the walks came on like a 30 pitch AB to Garko, the other came after he'd been in the dugout for like an hour. He hits his spots and doesn't really leave the ball over the plate. And he said in his postgame that he made some bad pitches and got lucky on a few balls.

Stud.

Look him up Rube

He should be the left-handed platoon catcher on his days off
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

BNightengale It's only one game, but Cliff Lee looks like he's going to duplicate what CC Sabathia did last year in the NL. He was unbelievable tonight.

He from now on assumes pinch-hitting duties before Eric Bruntlett. For that matter Chan Ho Park should also PH before Brunt.

I should PH before Brunt.
This is a simple game. You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball.

I laughed along, courteously but nervously, at the first 1,632 fap and fap-related references. Now it's just downright Steaglesl-level creepy.
