If the e-mail/voicemail/text/smoke signals of guys taking jerseys off in the IronPigs dugout is correct, wasn't Carpenter in that mix?

I wonder if Happ would be involved in this somehow. Where does he fit in once Pedro is ready to go?

Zolecki tweet: "Heard Marson and Donald had been scheduled to have today's game (which started at 11 a.m. ET) off."

I believe the Cy Young bumps Lee's '10 club option to $9MM but hey, what's a million bucks to the Phils?!

Lee has been less than fantastic in one of his last ten starts. Against the White Sox, who we don't even play!

Cleveland wants pitching, not position players, which makes me think maybe 2 deals happen today

However, a source familiar with the Indians' thinking denied Wednesday that the club was close to any deal, saying "that's news to me." The source said the Indians hadn't exchanged medical reports with any teams regarding any potential trades, and said that while the Indians were still listening on both Lee and catcher Victor Martinez, they still hadn't gotten an offer that was "compelling" enough to say yes.

According to sources who have spoken with officials of both clubs, they've discussed a variety of packages for Lee. One potential package is believed to include Carrasco, a top position-player prospect yet to be determined and two hard-throwing Class A pitchers, Jason Knapp and Trevor May.
