From this game, bottom of the ninth, and checking the 2007 DVD, it was the Christmas in July game. This first part was great:
"Fly ball in the gap in left center field...it's deep, and it is...(as two Nationals sort of bump into each other and don't catch the ball) dropped out there! And J-Roll is gonna end up at third base and the Phillies are still alive (ball gets away from cutoff man) and he's gonna try to score, and HE'S SAFE AT HOME PLATE! THIS GAME IS TIED! UNBELIEVABLE! HERE IN THE NINTH INNING! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?"
but I like the second part even more, which isn't on the DVD, but I wrote it one down on a sticky note after he said, and I'm glad I never threw it away:
"We'll have to see how they score it, but we don't care because it's tied!"
This was the game we won on a mammoth walkoff HR by Howard in the 14th.

Rick Schu comes in for Schmidt late in the game cause it's a blowout, and he gets a groundball hit to him at third. He goes to throw and kinda trips on his own feet. They show the replay and Whitey laughs and says "He was like a dancing bear out there."

Why was this game on ESPN Classic? And $#@! Comcast for not giving it to me without buying the next stupid tier.

This was back when I briefly had ESPN Classic and then they took it away. I'm not sure why it was on, but it's probably for one of two reasons: Schmidt got his career 2000th hit or because he hit 3 home runs in the game.
