mea culpa their chips? I mean, Zoltan Gera? ZOLTAN GERA!??!

I kid, but it really seemed quite obvious from the beginning that you needed to make room for Dempsey. It's probably more satisfying that he had to really re-earn his spot, but they could have maybe a few more points had they not screwed around with him.

Dempsey has been huge this year, huge. But with all do respect, benching him seemed to light a fire under him. Dempsey was pretty poor from Jan. on last year, and everything i was reading in preseason this year seemed to show he wasnt improving. Saying all that I'm happy as hell he's turned it around and he's been one of Fulham's top 5 players this year.

If I weren't waiting for the Philly team, I'd probably jump on the Sounders bandwagon.

Knew that was coming. You're pretty off and on with your own team.

I don't regret rooting for Madrid for a while, either. It was a heck of a lot of fun.

are you calling floppy a "bandwagon" Arsenal fan? Because that's an insanely off base comment

It sure sounds like that was your intention.

I may get pissed at Arsenal at times, but they will always be my one and only team.

The game in Seattle looked fantastic and certainly shows the potential for soccer in the US if done correctly.

FWIW, the Sounders actually have 22,000 season tickets sold. So, they'll have excellent crowds at every game this year.

Is Freddie playing for Seattle? It seems like he hasn't been fit since like 2003. But what a legend.

Not tonight. Reports always seem to be changing but I think he's supposed to be healthy in a month or two.

Fuck

So, nothing like having to get through Madrid, Chelsea, Barca and fucking United to win the Champions League. Could United have a fucking easier draw? Seriously.
