He never disappoints. Unless you're Minka Kelly and couldn't have proper relations because Derek was really stressed out and tired and didn't feel like going that night. But even then, he's Derek Jeter and he doesn't disappoint, he only delays the satisfaction.

I honestly don't know if "playing hard" is really a risk factor for getting injured short of running into walls and such. Baseball injuries seem to occur doing routine things like running the bases and swinging the bat or getting hit by pitches. I'm skeptical that playing in the WBC would lead to a higher injury rate for hitters (pitchers are a different case, I'd grant) especially given the injury rate by playing a few games is so low to begin with.
