Here is the thing I don't get about the diving call (in general, not yesterday specifically) - if a guy is diving/embellishing, how can there be a penalty on the opposing player? The offender is who created a penalty with the dive. If you really want to curb that kind of thing, give the two minutes for tripping/hooking, whatever but give four minutes to the guy diving/embellishing. I just feel like the guy conjuring the penalty should get the stiffer punishment, so to speak.

I am sick of all of them. Somebody pointed it out up-thread but the first two games might as well have had the Rangers broadcast team in there. The national guys are so in the bag for NY, Pitts and Boston it is sickening. So pretty much our three opponents on the way to our Cup hoisting.

Not gonna happen when our games are being pushed to CNBC. Looks like Doc is gonna continue to rotate between the BOS and PIT series, and we get Albert again next Sunday

They DID have the Rangers broadcast team in there

thought doc eddie and pierre were calling it well for both teams in the det/bos matchup. i suppose it depends on the tide of the game and crews tend to gravitate toward the home team more on the broadcasts, which is evidenced across the league. you guys get dave strader/brian engblom on tuesday so thats slightly better.
