Feel really badly for Akeson. He actually played a great fucking game; then came the unfortunately penalty. Fully rebound in the forecast for Sunday. They really have to find a way to get more rubber on Hank though.

Even when the TV guys said they looked good, I never agreed. Forecheck was bad, almost never any sustained pressure on Hank, puck was in their zone too much. I thought the top line looked decent despite no shots for G but I can't think of anyone else who stood out (beyond Akeson). Coburn looked bad, Kimmo tipped that puck straight to Richards...just a bad game all around. Get em Sunday.

Yea, and despite all of that it was a tie game until Akeson lost his skates and pirouetted with his stick into the Rangers' face. I suspect much like Jesus, the Flyers will raise from the dead on Sunday to return hope to the faithful.

nbcsn crew last night was talking about how mason could help and acknowledged how much better at handling the puck he is than emery. could cut down a lot of opportunities by controlling the puck wrapping around the boards on a dump and chase and lead to increased breakout opportunities after rags pinch in.

Never seen Emery flop around so much. Playing so loose in the net.
