The only Phils jersey I own is of Pat Burrell. I am not looking forward to a Ibanez version. Tildes just look weird.

Breaking news, PTB signs with the Mets for 3 years, 32M. He looks forward to helping the Mets get over the hump and compete for a world championship. The signing is a big move for the Mets, as they shore up a hole in LF, and pick up a proven winner.

you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

What he said. As both a Phillies fan and an observer of the early-shift waitresses at McGillins and Irish Pub, I'll miss your production.

burrell was my first ever real phils jersey and has been one of my favorite players since he arrived. i will definitely miss him and i sincerely hope he does not sign with the mets.

If Pat signs with the Mets, I'd have to consider getting a Mets Burrell jersey. And I know I'd root for him to kill us.
