The FCC reports it received 26 complaints from the public about Utley's language, which was heard live, in the late afternoon, on at least five television stations and one radio station, KYW (1060). Nielsen Media Research estimated that more than 825,000 local viewers saw part of the parade on CBS3, 6ABC, NBC10, Fox29, or Comcast SportsNet.

the FCC doesn't know when to shut up

26 people sent letters to the FCC about it. These stations reach 6-8 million people. Good work by all. Here's one of the complaints:

"I heard it here in Camden," said: "That sort of language is no big deal. . . except that Howard Stern was driven off free radio by you, the FCC, because of content and bad words and the like. It's only fair that broadcasters be held to the same standards. . . . Fine KYW as much as you are legally allowed to fine them! . . . Lord knows the US Treasury could use the money."

So one of them is just a pissed Stern fan looking for retribution. LOL, what a joke

26 complaints officially filed with the FCC. Nearly 13,000 people officially signed up in "World F*** Champs" Facebook group. If this is a democracy, I think the viewers have voted.

Also, it was 26 out of 825,000 local viewers which is an even more ridiculously small percentage

Chase was on WIP's morning show today and was asked about "WFC". He said 30-yr olds should be allowed to celebrate like 30-yr olds...
