Yeah, I'm 29, and I don't remember a thing about 1980 (I was a wee one year old). I remember that anytime a former member of the team made a public appearance in the area (Luzinski did and so did Dickie Noles, both at memorabilia shows in shopping malls), it was a big deal, and I remember watching Tug as a news personality, but not so much as a player.

But this is wonderful. I can't imagine 1980 being better than this.

this means a lot more to me than the 1993 world series, when I was rooting for the Blue Jays at age 6 because I liked how the name "John Olerud" sounded.
