Know what sucks? This game is probably going to be ratings gold for MLB. Casual fans will be brought in because it's so odd. Plus, the game will probably be completed in about an hour, so ninnies who complain about how long and boring baseball is will tune in.

Rays to be staked to a 6-2 lead, as the game was suspended in the 6th inning.

you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I imagine driving down 95 in the morning would be suicide.

I'm glad it was cancelled, no way did I want to drive up today not knowing if the game would be played. Much rather head back up tomorrow.

If we don't win tomorrow, the best day of my life will be in freaking Pittsburgh.

Somewhat considering bagging this semester of grad school to stay home.

I'm happy. I had my gov class cancelled yesterday and Wednesday, even though it means I don't have to be up until 9:25 tomorrow morning, I wasn't about to want to stay up till 1:30 or 2:00 this morning. Definitive word=good. This is good. Get 'em tomorrow. Plus now I can relax and watch the Flyers and do some actual work without having radars and weather pages stuck up on my computer till 8:00. I assume the 8:37 start time tomorrow means Obama ad pre-game?

It's no longer merely about winning a world series - it's about reinventing the game itself

is it bad to root for a loss in game 5 so i can actually watch them win in game 6 or 7?
