And they were unable to correctly punctuate a third.

And I guess if those were 3 cities, then "New York" would be a state, which further advances the mess that is this map.

Washington DC is also oddly enough not on the Chesapeake Bay.

Nor is New Jersey shaped like the profile of a dude.

Funny. From the way it looks, the new york dude looks like he is pointing way down, while philly dude is pointing sky high.

You don't believe in the curse, do you? I had become a non-believer ... until that pop-up Rollins couldn't catch. Now, I'm wondering what else the postseason has in store for us. Root for the Phillies to win, period.

Even Ozzie Smith can't catch every pop up in a monsoon. That was no curse, baseball shouldn't have been played at that moment.

my buddy at the game said you pretty much couldn't see any of the popups due to the rain and wind

The Sixers said the AT&T Pavilion at the Wachovia Center will remain open after the Sixers game late into the evening for fans to watch the baseball game with half-price domestic beer specials and delicious food, including Chickie's & Pete's world famous Crab Fries and chicken tenders. After the Sixers game, access to the AT&T Pavilion will be free and open to the public.

The article on Phillies.com didn't specify, but I understand it to be any lot run by that company (don't know the name). Of course, any side lot (Holiday Inn, etc), might not honor the same.

i was considering it; now i'm pretty set on it if i can get a real-life wingman or a whole crew together. seriously, i can't think of a better way to watch this game.

my friends might be a little cold on the idea, though, after last night.

FWIW, local music promoter R5 Productions is saying they have a source at the Phillies who say that playing tomorrow night is not likely. If true, wow...

Haha, I've been to plenty of R5 shows--but what could they possibly know that nobody else seems to about this?

Geez, I wasn't blaming Rollins. He and Mike Schmidt are the two best players I've ever seen in terms of handling infield pop-ups. I just said that was the moment I began to wonder if maybe Philadelphia is cursed.
