Fell asleep last night and missed the game. But, my wish is granted. One away win at the Trop, and preferably winning the first game.

Credit to the rays tho' - they don't sound to fazed. And equally, we don't sound too hyped.

I lasted until the 5th, considered I spent six hours playing tourist in the city yesterday, that's better than I expected. But BabyVox woke me up for the end of the game.

In retrospect, I'm glad. I will get nothing done on sunday because I will spend saturday night getting hammered with people I've never met on teh interwebs. So if I'm only up late tonight, saturday will be way more productive.

I'm still blown away by phorever's feat tho'. I'm guessing he had barely 1 hours sleep before work.

Now everyone is looking at forecasts and saying Saturday might be an issue. So if they push things back a day, do you go with Hamels in a Monday game 4?

Absolutely. It keeps him on normal rest and gives him an extra day to recover for possible emergency Game 7 duty.

But IMO either way, whether we're up 3-0 or 2-1 or down 2-1, it behooves you to have your best guy in there that night.

look at the swagger on you - not just missing game 1 of the 1st WS in 15 years, but disdainfully sleeping thru it.

what next, sipping wine spritzers in-game? Posts in politics threads during the 7th inning stretch? where does it end?

If game 3 gets canceled I'm kinda screwed . . . I have tix and was planning on staying in a hotel that night and coming back to DC early Sunday.

If I need to switch my tix out for Sunday night work on Monday is gonna suck.
