nope. this is the thread where you man up and admit you no longer believe. when your name is added to the list, you give up all rights to celebrate when they inevitably win out and run the table in the playoffs. it takes a real dude.

Well, dude, uh. . . yeah! You lose 4 in the Series and you're out.

ante up.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

These are all highly winnable contests. Piece of cake, in fact. Fuck it, let's win all six. I think we can do it. Let's do it. Keep firing. We're gonna do a better job. Let's do it. Yes. Yes. Yes!!!!!!!!!!

As bad as that game was - and it was wretched - 5-1 does seem, crazily, reasonable. The NFL kinda blows.

And FWIW, I would not be stunned by the above scenario playing out.

I'd say that's possible, but most certainly not probable.

The Ravens will be out for blood after getting their asses handed to them, so that's not picnic. The Cardinals aren't that great, so that should be a win. Giants, assuming they don't shit the bed seems like automatic loss. Browns at home seems like one of those potential clunker games (see: yesterday). At Redskins doesn't look too appealing assuming Portis is healthy and Gocong is still playing for us. They also had the Cowboys beat last night and gave it back to them. Cowboys at home could go either way, but I kind of expect it to be meaningless

I'm still going to watch and root, but I think their struggles with run-blocking, compounded by the lack of a fullback and blocking tight end, may be insurmountable. If #5 has a bad game, like he did yesterday, they're hopeless.

I'm just at such a loss. We just played the 23rd ranked run defense in the league in windy, terrible throwing conditions and yet McNabb puts up the 3rd most past attempts in Eagles history (including passing 18 for 18 on 3rd down conversions). I know they are struggling running the ball but you can't desert it altogether. Westbrook still gained 60 yards on the ground. I just continue to shake my head and laugh in a McNabbiocrity sort of way.
