That's an awesome argument to make if you just completely ignore statistics.

Home- .230/.348/.439, 12 HR in 269 AB
Away- .270/.387/.577, 21 HR in 267 AB

Was flipping through the radio dial this morning and caught about 5 minutes of WFAN, which was long enough to hear Craig Carton go on about how much a Red Sox-Dodgers World Series would be great and that he just doesn't want the Phillies to get in. He didn't explain why although I guess he's still bitter about the Mets.

When it came to saying their "I dos" again, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony doubled the fun, joining New York Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran and his wife Jessica for a joint ceremony, PEOPLE has learned.

"Carlos gave his wife a specially engraved ring and gave Marc and Jennifer special rings as gifts," a source told PEOPLE exclusively. "Carlos and Jessica renewed their vows first, then Jennifer and Marc went."
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

They showed some clip from 1999 on Best Damn Sports Show of Fernando Tatis hitting two grand slams in one game. He sure looked like he was on roids then too. Not surprisingly, he was on Big Mac's Cardinals at the time.

John (NY): Mets can offer Sabathia the money and the NL. What do you put their odds at?

SportsNation Jim Callis: (2:46 PM ET ) I think they're the frontrunners.

Thought I had read that CC didn't want to play in one of the huge markets... though maybe that was wishful thinking on my part.

I'd really prefer he not join the Mets. Santana's enough.

I'm done worrying about who the Mets might acquire. Somehow it won't be enough.

More fun from Metsrefugees, the gift that keeps on giving:

Because we aren't and shouldn't be even considered the front runners next year.

Things I couldn't possibly care less about right now:

1.) The 2009 MLB Season

I'm sure 99% of Mets fans still believe they are the better team.
