The worst thing is losing Bradley/Adu. Okay, it's not a disaster losing Bradley - I'm not a Bradley basher, but I just don't think Feilhaber will cost us that much. But Adu, darn it darn it darn it.
Altidore/Mcbride up top isn't bad at all, but who's getting them the ball. Given Japan's playing for nothing, let's assume Neth has 5 points with superior goal differential. So if we win, we're obviously still in, but if we draw, goal differential will be the same as Nigeria, so what's the next tie breaker... hopefully goals, in which case we're through. If somehow the tiebreaker comes to a 2-1 victory over Japan is superior to a 1-0 victory over Japan, than a draw means we're out. I'm not sure how that works though given the concept of away goals is not an issue.
If two or more teams end up with the same number of points, tiebreakers are used: first is goal difference, then total goals scored, then head-to-head results, and finally drawing of lots (i.e. determining team positions at random).
That's the World Cup. Can't find anything regarding the Olympics, but that would be good.
Lots of dunks for America, but we're only up 4 here.
