We hope you enjoy the site, and we can't wait to see it grow.
The intention of BackSheGoes is to create a Phillies baseball community that straddles the line between groupthink of any kind, and challenges every member to contribute to intelligent baseball analysis the best way they know how.
My wife and I are the administrators and proprietors of the site, we're Don and Wendy, or VoxOrion and MrsVox. We wouldn't have made the decision to take on this adventure without the encouragement, assistance, and input of several people.
Running the site is important, but it's an empty vessel without the contributions of you - the most important factor in becoming a fantastic forum.

Things will probably be shaky for a while, please bear with us and have fun!

Thanks everyone, great to be here. mastodon central/telemaco island is really sad, tho
Why not just go storm Normandy and get shot in the face while you're at it
Why not get a plumbing license and run around high on shrooms stealing peoples' pocket change
Some things the Mrs and I will be working on this weekend (no baby yet!):
Smaller header, smaller toolbar buttons, smaller "Post New Topic", buttons - probably make the edit button blue, create an AIM button (maybe clean those buttons up all together).
The throbbing "Hot Topic" buttons are a little distracting and busy.
Do folks find the "hot topic" notification useful? I usually read what I want with or without that, the only notification I really require is the "read" vs. "unread" indicators.
Is it that the current method of identifying the "hot topics" is too much, or is it that the entire concept is unnecessary?
i'm a hot topic fan too. and i dont even wear gothy clothes

As I have caught up on the previous threads here, I agree that the flashing icons are distracting. Isn't it enough to distinguish between threads that have been read and not read? Current hot topics should be nearer the top of the list. For me, that is enough to tell what folks are discussing.
