Ortiz hit a line drive to right field. Abreu broke in, stopped, and then tried to smother the ball, which hit in front of him. The ball got past him and rolled to the warning track, scoring a run, with Ortiz ending up on third.

He does have a couple of hits tonight and stands on first with a single, Damon on third, A-Rod with a full count and one out. 5-4 Red Sox.
