Mets continue to impress while outscoring their opponents 31-3 in 4 games. I've watched part of their games and they've just beaten up on their opponents. The games were not close. Ugh!

They've looked great every game I've seen so far. It can't last right? Shore help me out here, their crappy staff has to hurt them at some point. Right?

Yanks down 5-2. ARod hit one out early with Abreu on. Igawa looking less than spectacular.

Snow out in Cleveland again...they really should take weather into account in early season scheduling...

Anyone else in the Mercer County area with Comcast getting the Spanish announcers on YesHD? The last couple games have been this way.

For anyone who gets the Fox Sports package, the Atlantic feed has a really good college game on right now Miami vs GaTech.

Gio Gonzalez tossed five hitless innings and struck out nine for Double-A Birmingham on Friday.
''I don't know what was harder - that (Phillies lineup) or the All-Star team lineup,'' Haren said.

Their rotation isn't this good. Glavine's a .500 pitcher, so's Hernandez. Pelfrey, IMO, isn't ready for Prime Time yet. Who the hell knows which Oliver Perez you're going to get. I like John Maine, though, a little bit.

If both Maine and Perez succeed, and Pelfrey can go 10-9, they're a solid team. But if Maine or Perez flop, or get hurt, Pelfrey's got a 5.10 ERA, then the old dudes can't carry the load.

Think of their start this way: It'll be so totally sweet to watch them crash, and have all the smug Met fan faces fall into exasperation.

Xavier Nady accidentally knocked an Adam Dunn fly ball over the fence for a homerun today. It went off his glove. Jason Michaels and Canseco's were funnier.

Its well beyond smug...but smug is what you get when your team is vying for its 27th World Series title.
