Haven't had much time for photography this spring due to chasing kids around but went for a quick walk with the girls this afternoon and took this:

Kid, that fog over Alcatraz is nuts. Does that happen often? I've spent a lot of time in SF and have never seen it.

That was really unusual. That's actually the view out my front window! I've lived in this general vicinity for over 20 years and I've seen some insane skys, clouds, colors -- fog/low-clouds -- but that was the first time I ever saw Alcatraz 'engulfed' like that ... i grabbed my point and show Canon and got a few shots of it. The other shots are out my windows too. I'm on Telegraph Hill facing North, I used to be on the hill facing west for 12 years -- but moved a year ago.

Were you able to rescue Adrienne Barbeau? The last time she was stuck in fog like that, a bunch of dead lepers came for her.

Nice, moma. Is the first one HDR? If so, it's extremely well-done. If not, it's still extremely well done. :)

Nope, no HDR. Didn't bring the tripod to Mexico. May do some HDR stuff this weekend. It's been awhile since I've shot any HDR and yet to do it with my new glass. Thank you!

Anyone ever order a canvas print? Saw some this weekend that looked cool. Ordered one from Mpix today. Excited to see it tomorrow.

Let us know how you like it. I have been thinking of ordering one from mpix myself.

We did some major renovations to the building I work in over the past several months. I was asked to take some pictures of the construction that went into a newsletter and I think magazine to NJ attorneys. And now that most of the work is done I was asked to take a few of the building that will be on our website. It was non-paying but still pretty cool.

It is pretty uninteresting stuff but the only photography I have had time for lately and I think they came out pretty good.

My wife and i ordered a canvas print of one of our wedding pictures. It came out really good. I'm pretty sure we used Mpix
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Will do. It's arriving today. You get the regular print and the canvas print. I figured it was worth the shot.

Nope ... That's actually me. My girlfriend took that pic. The only photoshopping was making it black and white.
