Isn't that just a regional thing, though?

I mean, calling pasta sauce gravy rings very silly to me, but millions do it, so, you know

People who use the word pasta a lot instead of spaghetti or linguine and so forth. I'm not saying it's never appropriate to use the word pasta, but come on. Spaghetti is good.

That's what sucks about teh bluetoothz... used to be if you saw someone talking to themselves, you knew they were crazy.

I know you were using "rings" in verb form, but "gravy rings" are two words that should never appear next to each other in a sentence

I think traditionally, a pie is seen as a baked good with a crust and a top with filling in the middle. Pizza usually has toppings rather than filling.

I'd argue it either fits the actual definition of pie or comes pretty close, with the common usage of the term pizza pie pushing it over the line. Dean Martin was a big Italian, you know.

1) The people that come into my office just to "hang-out". Listen asshat, there are other people here trying to do work.

2) The lazy people that take the elevator up/down one floor.

3) Did I mention there's a guy in here right now doing absolutely nothing related to work?

4) The guy in my office that gets up every three minutes.

5) Cell phone usage in restaurants.

I share a big office with two other people. The one guy needs to be beaten with a rubber hose.

Pumpkin pie doesn't usually have a top crust, and yea, maybe it's more accurate to call it a fucking tart, but I'm gonna call it pie.

"Pizza pie" isn't common usage where I'm from.

To me, a pie is something that is filled rather than topped. It has to have a bottom crust that extends up the sides of the pie pan so as to contain the filling. A pizza (excepting the Chicago-style deep dish pizzas) is more of a tart.

Eskimo Pie is a brand name and hence not required to follow rules, but that's not a pie either.

Common in Philly, maybe elsewhere, but not in Oregon.

Aint no hotties working the Waltgreens beat out here, I'll tell you that fo sho! We're just starting to get CVS, we have Longs I think, I heard there are some Rite Aids somewhere but out here its mainly Safeway and Walgreens.

In general, the entire lack of self-awareness and common sense around etiquette with a cell phone -- bugs me a lot. If you need to talk animated or long and hard, step outside and away from people. The worst is on a bus at 5pm, bunch of tired office workers sitting in silence thinking about life... and 1 idiot is conversing loudly and oblivious ... people also seem to talk louder on a phone and sometimes more animated.

The talk and drive is ridiculous. Eat n drive is also ridiculous. Cars and trucks can kill. Take it seriously people! A license is a privelege not a right.

It's even worse at 8 in the morning. There's one guy at my work who I've hardly ever talked to but would really love to piss on because he does this almost every day. Who the hell wants to shoot the shit with their buddy at 8 am anyway? Read a god damn newspaper.

I once couldn't take it and just blurted out loudly "hey, can you talk louder I can't hear what your saying..." people around me started clapping and laughing... the idiot just turned around and looked at me incredulously and kept going, a bit quieter... unreal...back in the Philly day I might have kept going ... "yeah you, stfu!" but I've mellowed with age...

Did one person start to clap slowly, and it picked up, or was it spontaneous by everyone?
