Enterprise?

Yeah, it was pretty good actually. Frustrating to go backwards in time line and have more limited tech but it was pretty solid. The whole Zindi thing was solid.

Bakula was good too.

I also liked Voyager a lot. Thought that group grew well together and had good divesity, Seven of Nine, Neelix, Tuvoc, Paris, Kim, Latino/Native American, Korean, solid ... also they had a lot of dynamics with Borg which really were suspenseful and compelling.

Yeah, I was reading the press release this morning. I'm not paying for every station to have online access. I pay a boatload of cash for Direct TV, Sunday NFL Ticket, HBO and Showtime -- and I begrudgingly took on Netflix for $9 a month. That's it. If each of these entities thinks I'm giving them $5-10, and have to make a new password and login to their proprietary stuff - f em.

As for Star Trek. Given it's the same showrunners that did the last two movies which I disliked a lot, I'm expecting it to not be all that compelling or high quality. Star Trek was always un-even, but there was a look, and a vibe and a way of doing it. I suspect now it will try to re-invent for a younger newer audience and not really worry about more than token continuity to the past or prior canon.

I'm curious of course, and were it to just air on a CBS channel - I'd surely check it out - but I'm not buying some other plan just for one show that may not even be all that good.

Been doing a Star Trek push lately. Started slow, was still in the old house when I determined to watch every episode of TOS, which I did - finished up at current house (moved here in 2014). Then all of TNG. Now in late season 5 of DS9. Started, albeit slowly, looking at a couple of first season Voyagers to break it up.

I was always sort of on the outside looking in with Star Trek. I kinda liked it, but never went deep dive. I was missing out!

Didn’t really like the new movies however, all of which I saw before I began this project. Well, except for Beyond. I may have liked that one better than the other two honestly.

JJ Abrams reboot has been canned

Paramount still interested in a QT production
