It's throwing me off that the contestants could ring in before Alex finished reading the clue.

Also that Alex talked so fast, the audience clapped or groaned after most responses, and no one seemed to have any idea how to wager in Final Jeopardy.

Yeah one tonight's episode everyone bet everything and got the question wrong. Somehow, it happened again 35 years later.

That was legit amazing, people in the crowd were yelling at Trebek asking him what the answer is and he was like "Oh I think you mean what's the question!"
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

I remember watching Jeopardy in my father and stepmother's TV room in their townhouse, where they lived between summer 1983 and fall 1985. So if I didn't see these first episodes, I started not long thereafter. I remember the original run of Chuck Forrest, the first player who really advanced the game.

I think there was like 17 clues left unread in double jeopardy.

The banter was the point -- reinforced by how they just gave everyone's charity $10K at the end.

Regis was hysterical on the Classic Jeopardy earlier this week.

I don't think I've ever seen it before where only one contestant made it to Final Jeopardy.
