huh. what a coinky dink, along with the recent WDRE reference.

DRE played TMBG's Istanbul (which is on the same album as the song I quoted)- and the jock got on at the end and said "I think that's a remake, but I'm not sure who did it before them" (this of course was in the dark ages pre-internet). So I called in and informed him it was The 4 Lads (it was on one of my dad's cassettes he would play in the car when I was younger). It wasn't a contest or anything, but to thank me, he sent me a CD of the Sundays "Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic", which contains the song you quoted.
