It was only about a month ago that I found out that the lead singer of the Bangles, Susanna Hoffs, formed a band with Matthew Sweet and Mike Myers (of SNL) called Ming Tea in the 90's. It was a throwback 60's band. Her name in the band was Gillian Shagwell and Myers did his Austin Powers thing. She's apparently still performing.

Probably about 10 years ago, she did a series of albums with Matthew Sweet called Under the Covers, where they covered songs from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. They also toured together, and I saw them at the Bowery Ballroom. Mike Myers showed up to do a cameo appearance. Great show.

The latter. Actually, I don't care so much that it exists, but when it gets bumped several times a day, it annoys me.

My blood pressure has been consistently on the higher end for the past week or so, despite no major changes in diet, exercise, stress, etc. Concerning!
